STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of the book supplied by Larry Ormsby (“the Supplier”) through this online shop. By placing an order, the purchaser (“the Customer”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Orders
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. The Supplier reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, including where incorrect pricing or stock errors occur.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via the payment methods provided on the website.
4. Delivery
Books will be dispatched to the delivery address provided by the Customer. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on location and postal conditions. The Supplier is not liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
5. Returns and Refunds
If the book is defective, damaged in transit, or not as described, the Customer may request a replacement or refund within 14 days of receipt. Proof of purchase is required. Returns for change of mind are not accepted unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
6. Consumer Guarantees
These Terms do not exclude any rights or remedies available under the **Australian Consumer Law (ACL)**. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
7. Intellectual Property
All copyright and intellectual property rights in the book remain with the author, Larry Ormsby, or as otherwise stated. No part of the book may be reproduced without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Supplier’s liability for any claim arising from the sale of the book is limited to the amount paid by the Customer for that purchase.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
